Using dynamic typography techniques, including hand lettering, photography, 3-d lettering, and multimedia typography, I took inspiration from the peach tree. A peach is round, juicy, sweet, and physically nourishing for the body. I decided to put a spin on it - and create type that represented concepts nourishing for the mind. Quiescence, or a period of dormancy, is a phase that a peach tree goes through every year. I believe that people should take a page from this book and take a moment to be still, take a deep breath, and be at rest. This is especially important in our busy day-to-day lives.
