Since 2016 I have run an online embroidery business where I have explored the art of design, illustration, lettering, and fiber work within the confinements of a hoop. I find it gentle and relaxing, when I’m not stabbing my fingers with tiny needles! My favorite subjects are song lyrics and floral pieces.

 

Over the last three years, I’ve enjoyed working one-on-one with clients to create ring bearer pillows, wedding presents, nursery decorations, and gifts for their friends and family at birthdays and holidays. While I enjoy the entire process of embroidery from start to finish, my favorite aspect is the reaction of my client when they receive the final piece. It feels so rewarding to bring a piece of artwork into the world (however small) and have it hang on someone’s wall or sitting on their shelf.
